It's hard to believe that the 1st quarter is coming to an end of Friday. Students have worked hard learning the routines along with adding examples and references from their reading when answering questions.
Next week we will begin a biography unit. Students will be given guidelines to follow when choosing a biography to read. Along with reading there will be a product, reading logs, questions relating to our nonfiction objectives. This unit will be due on November 22nd. If you will be out of town, your child will need to hand in his/her assignments before leaving for the Thanksgiving break.
Homework is due Tuesday, November 1st. Remember that students are off for a Teacher Workday on Monday.
Open syllable and Social Studies test will be on Wednesday, November 2nd.
